Description

Please Don’t Shoot the Humans is an incremental clicker-defense game set in a single arena where the goal is to survive escalating zombie waves without shooting civilians. Players earn currency by defeating zombies, then reinvest it into weapons, upgrades, and automated defenses that push damage and efficiency higher with each run.

A Word from the Developer

“I wanted to make a fast, repeatable game built around constant decision pressure. The challenge is not just killing zombies faster, but doing it cleanly. Every upgrade makes the battlefield more chaotic, and the player has to manage that chaos without turning the arena into a shooting gallery.”

Gameplay Overview

The game takes place in a single combat arena designed for repeated runs. Zombies spawn in increasing numbers and with escalating modifiers, while civilian characters wander unpredictably through the battlefield. Shooting civilians carries penalties, forcing players to balance damage output, accuracy, and positioning. Progression is driven by unlocking upgrades, automating damage sources, and pushing further into higher difficulty waves.
