Local Language Coach Audio Disclosure

How audio works in Local Language Coach

Local Language Coach uses pre-generated synthetic neural voices for lesson phrases, answers, and listening activities. Each voice is selected for the language or regional locale displayed in the app. The resulting audio files are bundled with the app so lessons can play offline.

What the audio represents

The launch audio provides a consistent pronunciation reference for the documented beginner baselines in Spain, Mexico, and Costa Rica. A single synthetic voice cannot represent every accent, age, identity, community, or speaking style in those regions. Regional and individual variation is normal. Future courses will receive their own audio disclosure and validation before release.

The audio is not:

  • a recording of a live teacher or coach
  • a claim that a phrase was spoken or approved by a native speaker
  • a guarantee that every speaker in the named region uses the same pronunciation
  • an assessment of the learner’s pronunciation

Optional speaking practice

The app requests Microphone and Speech Recognition permission only after you choose Record my phrase. Recognition is required to run on the device, with no network fallback. The temporary clip lets you hear yourself and is deleted when you leave that practice. The result compares recognized words with the displayed phrase. It is not an accent or pronunciation score, and every speaking activity has a no-recording alternative.

Audio quality and corrections

Course scripts and audio references are checked together. If you hear a missing, clipped, mismatched, or unclear recording, email publishing@bitqueststudio.com with the regional edition, lesson number, phrase, and app version.
